Description
Artus non-filament polypropylene tape is made for slitter tooling applications. It provides superior adhesion when tabbing the ends of slit coils prior to push-off. It is also used for taping the perimeter of slitter knives to prevent the marking of the strip. Artus’s polypropylene tape offers the unique benefit of leaving behind no residue or stain on slit metal or slitter knives.
Often called PolyPro tape or poly tape, polypropylene tape is:

We offer two options with different tensile strengths, adhesion, and elongation:
Ivory Tape:
- Tensile Strength: 190 lbs/in
- Adhesive Power: 46 oz/in
- Elongation: 50%
Yellow Tape
- Tensile Strength: 240 lbs/in
- Adhesive Power: 31 oz/in
- Elongation: 63%
